Self Massage

1. Prescription
Head and Face: Tongziliao (GB1), Yingxiang (LI20), Chengjiang (CV24), Dicang (ST4), Cuanzhu (BL2), Chengqi (ST1), Sibai (ST2), Baihui (GV20), Jiache (ST6), Xiaguan (ST7), Shuaigu (GB8), Taiyang, Yifeng (TE17).
Neck and Shoulder: Fengfu (GV16), Jianjing (GB21), Dazhui (GV14), Fengchi (GB20).
Chest and Abdomen: Zhongwan (CV12) Front-Mu Point of the Stomach, Qihai (CV6), Guanyuan (CV4) Front-Mu Point of the SmallIntestine, Tianshu (ST25) Front-Mu Point of the Large Intestine, Shenque (CV8), Shangwan (CV13), Zhongji (CV3) Front-Mu Point of the Bladder, Wushu (GB27), Weidao (GB28).
Back and Lumbar Region: Tianzong (SI11), Bingfeng (SI12), Quyuan (SI13), Ganshu (BL18), Danshu (BL19), Pishu (BL20), Weishu (BL21), Sanjiaoshu (BL22), Shenshu (BL23), Qihaishu (BL24), Dachangshu (BL25), Guanyuanshu (BL26).
Hip: Huantiao (GB30 ), Zhibian (BL54).
Arm: Jianyu (LI15), Binao (LI14), Jianliao (TE14), Neiguan (PC6) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point, Quchi (LI11) He-Sea Point, Waiguan (TE5) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point, Hegu (LI4) Yuan-Source Point.
Leg: Biguan (ST31), Futu (ST32), Fenglong (ST40) Luo-Connecting Point, Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point, Xuehai (SP10), Chengfu (BL36), Yinmen (BL37), Weizhong (BL40) He-Sea Point, Lower Confluent Point, Kunlun (BL60) Jing-River Point, Yinlingquan (SP9) He-Sea Point, Sanyinjiao (SP6), Taixi(KI3) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point.


2. Technique of Massage
2.1 Face:
2.1.1 Thumb-press BL2,
Index finger-press GB1, ST1, ST2, LI20,ST4, CV24.
Index finger and middle finger press and knead ST6, ST7.
2.1.2 Four fingers of both hands press forehead, push and wipe from middle to both Taiyang for 10-15 times.
2.1.3 Both palms wipe from both side of nose to Taiyang for 10-15 times.
2.1.4 Index finger, middle finger and ring finger push and wipe from LI20 to front of ear.
2.1.5 Four finger of both hands push and wipe from CV24 to ST4, ST6 and to ST7 for 10-15 times.
2.2 Neck and Shoulder:
2.2.1 Thumb to three fingers (index finger and middle finger and ring finger) of one hand put on GB20, hold the muscles of neck from up to down until to GB21, both hands operate individually for 10-15 times.
2.2.2 Both thumbs press on GV16, thumb-push straight or finger-knead from middle to lateral pass through GB20 until TE17 (back of ear), repeat for 10-15 times.
2.2.3 The index finger, middle finger and ring finger of one hand press and knead GB20, TE17 of same side, and, GB21 of opposite side for 2-3 minutes. Then another hand repeats the operation.
2.2.4 One palm places on GV20, palm-push form up to down along middle line of head and neck and passes through GV16 to GV14, repeats the operation for 10-15 times.
2.2.5 Open thumb from other four fingers, press on back root of neck gently, thumb and other four fingers distribute on both clavicles, both hands push and wipe from bottom to top individually until feel warming in the local region.
2.3 Chest and Abdomen:
2.3.1 Index finger and middle finger press CV13, press and knead CV12.
Index finger and middle finger press and knead CV8, Index finger and middle finger press ST25.
Index finger and middle finger knead CV6, CV4. 
Index finger and middle finger press and knead GB27, GB28.
2.3.2 Palm-hold fattiness and muscles in Yinjiao (CV7), ST25, CV6 respectively, shake-hold forcefully with large-scale, also may add twist-press technique, it should be gentle when you put down, please repeat the operation for 10-15 times.
2.3.3 Put palm or root of palm on navel, palm-press and knead clockwise for 3-4 minutes.
2.3.4 Rub both hands and put on opposite hypochondrium under xiphisternum, palm or root of palm push straight from middle-superior to lateral- inferior along the inferior rib for 15-20 times.
2.3.5 Both hands hold and loose muscles on hypochondriac and costal regions with five fingers holding techniques, twist and knead forcefully when you hold, repeat the operation from up to down for 15-20 times. 
2.4 Back and Lumbar Region:
2.4.1 Knead BL24, BL25 for 1 minute respectively from gentle to forceful.
Index finger, middle finger and ring finger press SI11, SI12.
The palm and fingers joint or thumb press BL18, BL21,BL23.
Thumb-press BL25.
2.4.2 One hand put on opposite spine of scapula,palm-rub from GB21 to chest, repeat the operation for 20-30 times, then another hand repeats the same operation.
2.4.3 Both palms’ root put on back beside vertebral column and horizontally  to BL18, palm-push straight from up to down until sacrum, repeat the operation for 20-30 times.
2.4.4 Hollow-fists put on superior of iliac crest of same side, tap horizontally until the opposite side, both hands repeat the operation respectively for 20-30 times. 
2.4.5 Rub hands and put on superior of lumbar of both sides, rub the muscles on lumbar region from lateral-superior to middle-inferior for 20-30 times. 
2.5 Hip:
2.5.1 Palm or the root of palm press-knead GB30, BL54 of both sides clockwise or anticlockwise for 20-30 times.
2.5.2 Five fingers hold gluteus of both sides forcefully, twist-press when you hold, then loose slowly, repeat the operation of holding and pressing for 20-30 times.
2.5.3 Put the palm on lower lumbar region, palm-rub and push the fattiness of hip come-and-go until feel warming. 
2.5.4 Put the palm on anterior superior iliac spine,the root of palm push straight from up to down along the direction of hip to back-lateral of thigh, the massage technique should be flip-pluck and push-rub, from gently to forcefully, until feel soreness in the local region for 10-15 times.
2.5.5 Put palm on lower lumbar region, palm-rub horizontally until feel warming.
2.6 Arm:
2.6.1 Four fingers or five fingers hold deltoid from up to down gradually until to LI11, twist-press while holding, repeat the operation for 10-15 times.
2.6.2 Thumb-press and knead LI15. Index finger and middle finger press-knead LI14. Thumb-press TE5.
2.6.3 Put palm on middle-superior of shoulder, thumb-push straight or palm-rub from up to down along the front side of arm until wrist, repeat the operation for 10-15 times.
2.6.4 One thumb press on upper front side of opposite arm, flip-pluck with slightly strength and gradually move downwards until cubitus, repeat the operation for 10 times.
2.6.5 Pinch-hold LI4 for 1-2 minutes.
2.7 Leg:
2.7.1 Press-knead Chengshan (BL57),
Thumb-press and knead ST40, SP10, KI3.
2.7.2 Five fingers hold middle side of thigh from up to down until to knee region, repeat the operation for 10-15 times.
2.7.3 Palm-push or palm-rub from hip to BL40 along the meridian of bladder and repeat the operation for 10-15 times. 
2.7.4 Palm root-push straight from BL40 pass through BL57 to Achilles's tendon, repeat the operation for 10-15 times.
2.7.5 Both palms root or both fists tap middle side and lateral side of thigh from up to down forcefully, repeat the operation for 10-15 times.
2.8 Massage technique for losing weight of whole body
2.8.1 For obesity patient caused by insufficiency of spleen-stomach:
Knead CV6, CV4, ST36 for 3 minutes respectively, press-knead SP9, GV20 for 2 minutes respectively.
2.8.2 For obesity patient caused by insufficiency of primary essence:
Press-knead SP6,KI3, knead CV4, CV3 for 2 minutes respectively, press-knead SP9 for 2 minutes.
2.8.3 With the position of lying horizontally, abdominal fast breath, lift both feet to 40°-60°relative to body while expiration, let the leg down slowly while inspiration, repeat the operation for 10 times.
