Location:
1. Upright sitting, 1 cun anterior to the midpoint of the line connecting the anterior and posterior hairlines. 2. At the meeting point of the median line of the head and the line connecting two apex auriculae.
Function:
Promoting resuscitation and restoring yang from collapse.
Indications:
Headache, vertigo, tinnitus, nasal obstruction, aphasia by apoplexy, coma, mental disorders, and prolapse of the rectum and the uterus.

Methods:
Insert the needle subcutaneously to 0.5-1 cun depth; needling response: local numbness and distention; moxibustion: using 5-7 moxa-cones, or mild moxibustion for 10 min.
