Regional Anatomy:
Skin-subcutaneous tissue-epicranial aponeurosis-subaponeurotic loose tissue.
There are the branches of the greater occipital and frontal nerves, and the anastomotic network of the left and right superficial temporal arteries and veins with the left and right occipital arteries and veins in this area.

Combined use with ChangqiangGV1 (Changqiang (GV1) Luo-Connecting Point) for treatment of proctoptosis; with WeidaoGB28 (Weidao (GB28)) for treatment of hysteroptosis; with TinghuiGB2 (Tinghui (GB2)) for treatment of tinnitus; with JiuweiCV15 (Jiuwei (CV15) Luo-Connecting Point) for treatment of dysentery; with RenzhongGV26 (Shuigou (GV26)), ShixuanEXUE11 (EX-UE11), ZusanliST36 (Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point) for treatment of syncope; with GeshuBL17 (Geshu (BL17)), WeishuBL21 (Weishu (BL21)), ShenshuBL23 (Shenshu (BL23)), MingmenGV4 (Mingmen (GV4)), YaoyangguanGV3 (Yaoyangguan (GV3)), GuanyuanCV4 (Guanyuan (CV4) Front-Mu Point of the SmallIntestine), and ZhongjiCV3 (Zhongji (CV3) Front-Mu Point of the Bladder) for treatment of impotence.

Insert the needle subcutaneously to 0.5-1 cun depth; needling response: local numbness and distention; moxibustion: using 5-7 moxa-cones, or mild moxibustion for 10 min.
