Internal Medicine

1. Deficiency of marrow sea
Prescription: Zuo Gui Wan accompanies with He Che Da Zao Wan. Common herbs: Shu Di Huang, Shan Yao, Shan Yu Rou, Gou Qi, Tu Si Zi, Lu Jiao Jiao, Gui Ban Jiao, Fu Ling, Zi He Che, Dang Shen, Tian Dong, Du Zhong etc.

2.  Phlegm obstruction
Prescription: Di Tang Tang with modification. Common herbs: prepared Ban Xia, Chen Pi, Zhi Shi, Fu Ling, Ren Shen, Shi Chang Pu, Zhu Ru, Sheng Jiang, Gan Cao. Adding Dan Nan Xing, Hai Fu Shi, Qing Meng Shi if there is phlegm obstruction transfers to heat; adding Tian Ma if there is dizziness; Adding Fu Zi, Xi Xin, Gan Jiang if there is yang deficiency.

3.  Deficiency of qi and blood
Prescription: Gui Pi Tang with modification. Common herbs: Ren Shen or Dang Shen, Bai Zhu, Huang Qi, Fu Shen, Yuan Zhi, Dang Gui, toasting Gan Cao, Sheng Jiang, Da Zao, Zao Ren, Long Yan Rou. You can add some Lu Jiao Jiao, A Jiao, Gui Ban Jiao to strengthen the brain reinforcing function.

4.  Liver stasis and qi obstruction
Prescription: Xiao Yao San with modification, the ingredient includes Chai Hu, Fu Ling, Bai Zhu, Dang Gui, Bai Shao, Bo He, Sheng Jiang, Gan Cao, adding Long Gu, Zhu Sha, Zhen Zhu Mu if there is irritability, adding Dan Nan Xing, Ban Xia, Tian Ma to resolving phlegm if there is phlegm due to stasis; adding Long Dan Cao, Zhi Zi if there is heat caused by stasis.

5. Yang deficiency of spleen-kidney
Prescription: You Gui Pill accompanies Si Jun Zi Tang, the ingredient includes Ren Shen or Dang Shen, Shu Di Huang, Fu Ling, Bai Zhu, Fu Zi, Gou Qi, Du Zhong, Tu Si Zi, Rou Gui, Lu Jiao Jiao. Adding Ba Ji Tian, Xian Ling Pi, Yang Qi Shi if there is severe kidney yang deficiency; adding Ban Xia, Tian Ma, Xi Xin, Wu Wei Zi if there is excessive phlegm-slaver.

6. Liver-kidney yin deficiency
Treatment principle: nourishing liver-kidney, replenish essence and marrow. Prescription: Da Bu Yin Wan, including Zhi Mu, Shu Di Huang, Gui Ban Jiao, spinal marrow of pig. Modification according to syndrome, adding Di Gu Pi, Sheng Di Huang, Chi Shao Yao if there is severe deficiency heat; adding Shou Wu, Ma Ren, Xuan Shen if there is constipation; adding Zhen Zhu Mu, Bai Shao Yao, Di Long, Quan Xie if there is interior wind attack symptom.

7. Excessive fire in heart-liver
Prescription: Long Dan Xie Gan Tang accompanies with Huang Lian Jie Du Tang with modification. The ingredient includes Long Dan Cao, Huang Lian, Huang Qin, Huang Bai, Ze Xie, Mu Tong, Sheng Di Huang, Chai Hu, Gan Cao. Adding Bai Zi Ren, Zao Ren, Zhu Sha, Ci Shi to calming down mind.

8. Blood stagnation obstructing interior
Treatment principle: invigorating flow of blood and resolving stagnation, activating collaterals and inducing resuscitation. Prescription is Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang with modification: Dang Gui, Tao Ren, Hong Hua, Chuan Xiong, Zhi Qiao, Chi Shao, Jie Geng, Niu Xi, Gan Cao. Adding Huang Qi, Bai Zhu if there is severe qi deficiency; adding Shui Zhi, Dan Shen if there is blood stagnation; adding Jiang Huang, Ru Xiang, Mo Yao if there is body pain; adding Tian Ma, Shi Chang Pu, Yuan Zhi if there is unclear speech; adding Da Huang, Ma Ren if there is dry stools.
