Sub-health status refers to the person under a physiological status whom has a lower vitality (energy) and adaptability declines in varying degrees without any specific disease. Sub-health status is a third state between the range of health and disease. It is also known as Pre-disease state. The writer has studied for a long time in theory and acupuncture clinical practice of sub-health status to the prevention and treatment of acupuncture points selecting. According to the usage frequency of acupuncture points, from high to low all points are listed as follows:

Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point, Taichong (LR3) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point, Neiguan (PC6) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point, DV20, Sanyinjiao (SP6), Shenmen (HT7) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Primary Point and Pishu (BL20).
There are also some other broader using of acupuncture points for sub-health status: Zhongwan (CV12) Front-Mu Point of the Stomach, Shenshu (BL23), Yanglingquan (GB34) He-Sea Point, Influential Point of Tendon, Hegu (LI4) Yuan-Source Point, Taixi(KI3) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point, Ganshu (BL18), Danzhong (CV17) Front-Mu Point of the Pericardium, Fenglong (ST40) Luo-Connecting Point, Shenque (CV8), Zhongji (CV3) Front-Mu Point of the Bladder, Yongquan (KI1) Jing-Well Point, Qimen (LR14) Front-Mu Point of the Liver, Si Shen Cong, Mingmen (GV4), Juque (CV14) Front-Mu Point of the Heart, Yinlingquan (SP9) He-Sea Point, Tianshu (ST25) Front-Mu Point of the Large Intestine, Taiyang, Gongsun (SP4) Luo-Connecting Point, The Eight Confluent Point, Qihai (CV6), Fengchi (GB20), and so on.
