To be able to study in the field of TCM, to explore the best treatment method for rheumatoid arthritis and the herbs which can really control the progression of the disease, it is necessary to respectively divide the arthritis herbs as controlling the inflammation, controlling the progress of the disease, promoting and repairing joints as well. The herbs will be combined use, also plus differentiations.

1. Control of rheumatoid arthritis inflammation categories: Ma Huang, Gui Zhi, Fang Feng, Qiang Huo, Bai Zhi, Xi Xin, Wu Tou, Ge Gen, Du Huo, Wei Ling Xian, Fang Ji, Qin Jiao, Mu Gua, Luo Shi Teng, Sang Zhi, Hai Tong Pi, Can Sha, Hai Feng Teng, Mu Tong, Jiang Huang, Ren Dong Teng, Huang Bai, Shi Gao, Zhi Mu, Zhi Zi, Sheng Di Huang, Mu Dan Pi, Chi Shao, Mo Yao, Ru Xiang and so on.

2. Control the progress of the disease categories: Bai Jie Zi, Zao Jiao Ci, Bai Fu Zi, Jiang Can, Di Long, Quan Xie, Wu Gong, Tu Bie Chong, Bie Jia, Chuan Shan Jia, Lu Feng Fang, Bai Hua She, Wu Shao She, Chuan Xiong, Ru Xiang, Mo Yao, Dan Shen, ji Xue Teng, Tao Ren, Hong Hua, Wu Ling Zhi, Wang Bu Liu Xing, Su Mu, Dang Gui, San Qi, Xue Jie, Ma Qian Zi, and Lei Gong Teng etc. 

3. Promote joint repairing categories: Sang Ji Sheng, Wu Jia Pi, Hu Gu, Qian Nian Jian, Niu Xi, Du Zhong, Xu Duan, Gou Ji, Gu Sui Bu, Shu Di Huang, Dang Gui, Chuan Xiong, Bai Shao Yao, San Qi, Dan Shen, Ji Xue Teng, Tao Ren, Hong Hua, Wu Ling Zhi, Wang Bu Liu Xing, Quan Xie, Wu Gong, Di Long, Huang Qi etc.
