4 INDICATIONS
1. Amenorrhea or abdominal and epigastric masses caused by blood stagnation. Gadfly (Mang Chong) is used with Leech (Shui Zhi), Cockroach (Chechong), Peach seed (Tao Ren) and Rhubard (Da Huang ) in the formula Dahuang Zhe Chong Wan.2. Pain due to external injury. Gadfly (Mangchong) is used with Frankincense (Ru Xiang), Myrrh (Mo Yao) and Peach seed (Taoren).

5 DOSAGE
1-1.5 g; 0.3g for baked Power

This substance is contraindicated during pregnancy.
