4 INDICATIONS1. Yang deficiency of the spleen and stomach manifested as epigastric and abdominal cold pain, vomiting and Diarrhea. Prickly ash peel(Huajiao) is used with Pilose asiabell root (Dang Shen), Dried ginger (Ganjinag) and Malted barley (Yi Tang) in the formula Da Jinzhong Tang.2. Roundoworm  manidested as abdominal pain and vomiting Prickly ash peel (Huajiao) is used with Black plum (Wu Mei),Dried ginger (Gan Jiang) and Coptis root (Huang Lian) in the formula Wumei Wan.
