External Medicine

Writer treats 20 cases with oral intake of modification of Shen Ying Yang Zhen Dan and external use of shaving hair, rubbing hair with herbs. Shaving all of hair with once every 7 days, rub fresh ginger then herbs with 3 to 4 times a day. Ingredients of external herbs: Bai Bu 100g, Sheng Jiang 30g, Gu Sui Bu 50g, Hong Sheng Dan 0.2g, Hong Shen Xu 30g, 75% alcohol 700ml, mix them in closed glass bottle within 7 days. Ingredients of oral herbs: modification of Shen Ying Yang Zhen Dan: Qiang Huo 6g, Mu Gua 10g, Tian Ma 6g, Bai Shao 12g, Dang Gui 10g, Tu Si Zi 10g, Shu Di Huang 10g, Chuan Xiong 5g, add Gui Zhi 6g, Jie Geng 6g. add Sang Shen 15g, Gou Ji Zi 10g, prepared He Shou Wu 10g for liver and kidney yin deficiency; add E Jiao 10g, Han Lian Cao 15g, Hei Dou 20g for blood deficiency; add Huang Qin 10g, Jiao Bai Zhu 10g for qi deficiency; add Fang Feng 6g, Bai Ji Li 15g for itching hair due to wind; add Chai Hu 6g, Fo Shou 6g for liver qi dysfunciton; add Cang Zhu 10g, Yi Yi Ren 10g, Fu Ling 10g, Zhi Shi 6g for retention of phlegm and dampness. 20 days are one course. Result: 17 cases cured, 2 improved and 1 no effect.
