1 TASTE
Bitter or sweet and slightly cold


2 MERIDIANS
Lung and urinary bladder


3 FUNCTIONS
To promote water metabolism and regulate abnormal urination


4 INDICATIONS
Damp-heat in the urinary bladder manifested as hot urine, urinary tract stones, bloody urine, turbid urine, dysuria, painful urination, urgency of micturition and frequent urination. Pyrrosia leaf (Shi Wei) is used with Talc (Hua Shi), Lygodium spores (Hai Jin Sha) and Plantain seed (Che Qian Zi).

6-10 g
