The writer used Chinese medicine to treat 80 cases of urinary stony calculi diseases, and compared with treatment of 76 cases in contrast group by Li Shi Su, satisfied effect was achieved. There are 80 cases in treatment group, among which 26 cases are kidney calculi, 34 cases of calculi of ureter, 9 cases of bladder calculi, 11 cases of kidney calculi and calculi of ureter. As for contrast group (76 cases), there are 21 cases kidney calculi, 29 cases of calculi of ureter, 10 cases of bladder calculi, 16 cases of kidney calculi and calculi of ureter. Among treatment group, 43 cases are lower than 0.6cm×1.0cm size, oral taking herbal decoction; 37 cases are greater than 0.6cm×1.0cm size, taking extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) and then taking Chinese medicines. Among contrast group, 42 cases are lower than 0.6cm×1.0cm size, taking Biochema Cap; 36 cases are greater than 0.6cm×1.0cm, taking extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy then taking Biochema Cap. The prescription in treatment group: Chuan Shan Jia 10g, Ji Nei Jin 20g, Hai Jin Sha 15g, Jin Qian Cao 30g, Wang Bu Liu Xing 15g, Bian Xu 15g, Qu Mai 15g, Shi Wei 15g, Che Qian Zi 15g, Ze Xie 10g, Fu Ling 20g. As for the patients who taken extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, adding Bai Mao Gen 15g, Pu Huang 10g for clearing heat and relieving toxicity, invigorating flow of blood and stopping bleeding; adding Da Huang 10g if there is constipation; adding Shan Yao 15g and Shan Zhu Yu 10g if there is spleen and kidney deficiency. As to contrast group, the patients should take Biochema Cap (made in German), 2 times per day, 1 tablet each time, 20 days are one course.
Treatment result: the total effective rates are 85% and 63.2% in treatment group and contrast group.
