Regional Anatomy:
Skin-subcutaneous tissue-orbicular muscle of eye-frontal belly of occipitofrontal muscle.
There are the lateral branches of the supraorbital nerve, the branches of the facial nerve and the lateral branches of the supraorbital artery and vein in this area.


Location:
Upright sitting with one's eyes looking forward horizontally; at the midpoint of eyebrow, in the depression vertically above pupil.
Function:
Eliminating wind and improving eyesight.


Indications:
Pain in the supraorbital region, twitching of the eyelids, cloudiness of the cornea, and redness, swelling and pain of the eyes.


Prescription:
Combined use with ErjianEXHN6 (EX-HN6) for treatment of nebula; with HeguLI4 (Hegu (LI4) Yuan-Source Point) for treatment of myopia; with CuanzhuBL2 (Cuanzhu (BL2)), SiduTE9 (Sidu (TE9)), NeiguanPC6 (Neiguan (PC6) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point) for treatment of supraorbital neuralgia; and with TongziliaoGB1 (Tongziliao (GB1)), CuanzhuBL2 (BL2), YimingEXHN14 (EX-HN14) for treatment of cataract.


Methods:
Obliquely insert the needle at an angle of 30 degree to 0.3-0.5 depth, better to induce an electric shock-like sensation.
