Clinical Experience of Superficial Gastritis

The writer uses Da Chai Hu Tang with modification combining with Yang Wei Capsule (self-built) treating superficial gastritis and got satisfactory effect, the healing rate is 96%, superficial gastritis’ clinical symptom is abdominal pain, secret anguish is the main symptom, then upper abdominal distention and discomfort, eructation, poor appetite,  acid regurgitation and nausea. Da Chai Hu Tang has function of harmonizing Shao Yang and dispersing heat stasis. It was made for Shao Yang and Yang Ming disease. After modification, it has used for treating chronic superficial gastritis, Chai Hu can soothing liver, relieving stasis, benefit the general upward and downward function of spleen-stomach, and has the function of calming spirit, stopping pain, antiinflammatory. Combining with Yang Wei Capsule with the ingredients of Ren Shen, Chen Xiang, Huang Lian, San Qi, it has soothing liver qi, heaving spleen qi, to lower stomach qi so as to heal the disease.
