There are 1159 patients whose disease history is between 2 months and 5 years, among which, most of the patients’ disease history is half year; the largest tumor’s size is 4cm*5cm, the smallest one is 1.5cm*1.5cm, the average size is 2.1cm*2.3cm. The bumps are generally roundness or ellipse shape with clear boundary, the surface is smooth, they move up and down according to the activities of deglutition, there is not pressure pain. All the selected cases can be excluded with simple goiter, thyroid cancer and other neck tumor. Treatment method: using self-built Xiao Ying Tang as the main prescription. The ingredients include Xia Ku Cao 20g, Hai Zao 20g, Xuan Shen 15g, Zhe Bei Mu 12g, San Leng 10g, E Zhu 10g, roast Chuan Shan Jia 10g, Jiang Can 12g, Bai Jie Zi 12g. Decoct with water, 1 decoction per day, which should be taken within 2 times. 12 decoctions are one course.
Result: total effective rate is 95.78%.
