4 INDICATIONS
1. Goiter. Seaweed (Hai Zao) is used with Laminaria (Kun Bu) in the formula Haizao Yuhu Tang.2. Scrofula Seaweed (Haizao) is used with Prunella spike (Xia Ku Cao), Scrophularia (Xuan Shen ) and Tendrilled fritillary bulb (Chuanbei-mu) in the formula Neiziao lei li Wam.3.Edema of the foot or general edema. Seaweed (Haizao) is used with poria (Fu Ling) and Alismatis rhizome (Ze Xie).

10-15 g

6 COUTIONS
This herb should not be combined with Licorice root (Gan Cao), as they counteract each other.
