Sciatica

Scalp Acupuncture

Sciatica is a pain syndrome which spreads along the sciatic nerve and its innervated area. The sciatic nerve comprises the nerve roots of L4-S3 spinal nerves and is distributed all over the lower limbs through the hip region. Therefore, the pain radiates from the lower back, the buttocks, the posterior side of the thigh and posteriolateral side of the legs to the lateral border of the feet.

The selection of stimulation: Upper two-fifths of sensory area, motor and sensory area of foot on both sides.

Scalp acupuncture can be very effective for sciatica and may cure some of the cases.
