External Medicine

There are 30 patients who have local symptoms of pain, distention, increased skin temperature, superficial vein expansion etc in affected limbs for different degree. There are 4 patients who have sore on crus due to damage infection caused by many times relapse before the treatment. Some of the patients have symptoms of fever, fast pulse etc. All the patients have the disease occurred in legs, including unilateral (left side) 26 patients and bilateral 4 patients. All the patients had deep vein imaging examination or B-ultrasonic examination, indicating thrombosis in hip vein, unit deep vein, saphenous vein etc.


Treatment method: (1) early period: damp-heat obstruction: Si Miao San with modification: Huang Bai, Cang Zhu, Yi Yi Ren, Chuan Niu Xi, Yi Mu Cao, Zi Cao, Ze Lan, Hu Zhang, Pu Gong Ying, Si Gua Luo etc. (2) Middle period: Qi deficiency and blood stagnation: Bu Yang Huan Wu Tang with modification: Huang Qi, Dang Gui, Chi Shao, Di Long, Chuan Xiong, Tao Ren, ji Xue Teng, Chuan Shan Jia, Yi Yi Ren, Tu Bie Chong etc. (3) Late period: spleen-kidney yang deficiency: Huang Qi, Dang Shen, Yi Yi Ren, Yin Yang Huo, Chuan Niu Xi, Tu Si Zi, Mu Gua, Hai Zao, Kun Bu, Tu Bie Chong etc.

Treatment result: total effective rate is 93.3%.
