1. Cold and qi stagnation manifested as epigastric and abdominal pain and vomiting with clear fluid. Sandalwood (Tan Xiang) is used with Amomum Fruit (Sha Ren) and Lindera root (Wu Yao).2. Angina pectoris and coronary heart disease. Sandalwood (Tanxiang) is used with Corydalis tuber (Yan Hu Suo) and Asarum herb (Xi Xin) in the formula Kuanxiong Wan.
