Ectopic Pregnancy Treated by Self-made E Zhu Tang

Ectopic pregnancy is the nidation and development of the amphicytula out of the cavitas uteri. Its symptoms have amenorrhea, sudden onset of severe pain on lower abdomen, internal bleeding, vagina bleeding, even loss of consciousness, touching clots of pelvic cavity on late stage etc. Writer applies modification of self-made E Zhu Tang to activate blood and remove stagnation, soften hardness for treatment of ectopic pregnancy and obtains good effect. There are totally 25 cases. Ingredients: San Leng, E Zhu, Dang Gui, Chuan Xiong, Tao Ren, Hong Hua, Li Zhi He, Lu Lu Tong, Chi Shao, Hai Zao, Kun Bu, Mang Xiao. Add Chai Hu, Yan Hu Suo, Xiang Fu, Zhi Shi for liver qi stagnation; add Chang Pu, Wu Ling Zhi for pain on lower abdomen and bloody clots; add Huang Qi, lu Dang Shen for qi and blood deficiency; add Du Zhong, Gou Ji Zi, Xu Duan for kidney deficiency leading to lumbago. One week is one treatment course.
Result: on the same day or second day of treatment, symptoms are relieved including foreign body out of the vagina, abdominal pain or distention or nausea and vomiting are disappeared. Three days later, clots are obviously smaller by test of ultra B sonic. After one course, 12 cases obviously effective; after two courses, 13 cured.
