Urine Bladder Meridian

Regional Anatomy:
Skin-subcutaneous tissue-root of nail.
There are the dorsal digital nerve of the lateral dorsal cutaneous nerve of the foot and the arteriovenous network of the dorsal digital arteries and veins in this area.


Location:
Sit upright, hang down two shanks, with two feet touching the ground or lie supinely; at the meeting point of the line passing along the lateral border and the line passing along the base of nail of the little toe.
Function:
Correcting the abnormal fetal position, expediting child delivery, tranquilizing the mind, and regulating the balance between yin and yang.


Indications:
Abnormal fetal position, difficult labor, cerebral hemorrhage, nervous headache, conjunctival congestion, leucoma, uroschesis, spermatorrhea, nasal obstruction, and paralysis.


Prescription:
Combined use with TaiyangEXHN5 (EX-HN5) for treatment of migraine; with WuyiST15 (Wuyi (ST15)) for treatment of cutaneous pruritus; with QuquanLR8 (Ququan (LR8) He-Sea Point), and ZhongjiCV3 (Zhongji (CV3) Front-Mu Point of the Bladder) for treatment of spermatorrhea; with ZutongguBL66 (Zutonggu (BL66) Ying-Spring Point), ShuguBL65 (Shugu (BL65) Shu-Stream Point), KunlunBL60 (Kunlun (BL60) Jing-River Point), and WeizhongBL40 (Weizhong (BL40) He-Sea Point, Lower Confluent Point) for treatment of carbuncles and furuncles.


Methods:
Insert the needle perpendicularly, 0.1 cun deep; needling response: local pain; moxibustion: using 3-5 moxa-cones, or mild moxibustion for 10 min.
