Internal Medicine

There are 40 patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease acute exacerbation who are treated by method of treating both phlegm and stagnation simultaneously, which are compared with treatment effect of general west-medicine. All the 80 patients are inpatients in our hospital who are randomly divided into 2 groups, they are given therapy of low-flow oxygen, anti-inflammation, maintaining the function of respiratory system, improving heart function by strengthening heart, promoting urination and expending blood vessel, correcting water and electrolyte disorders, acid-base imbalance and nutrition supporting etc which are synthetical therapy. For treatment group, beside the methods mentioned above, adding Tan Yu Tong Zhi prescription: Hua Ju Hong, Tian Nan Xing, Ban Xia, Ting Li Zi, Lai Fu Zi, Chuan Xiong, Tao Ren, Di Long, Dan Shen, Shui Zhi powder (dissolving into water). Adding Hou Pu, Shu Di Huang if there are abdominal distention and constipation; adding Huang Qin, Yu Xing Cao if there are cough and asthma with yellow sputum; adding Huang Qi if there is breath shortness; adding Che Qian Zi (parcel), Ze Lan, Fu Ling if there is edema.
Result: for symptoms and signs improvement condition, the total effective is 95% in treatment group, 77.5% in contrast group. There are varying degrees improvement in the two groups after treatment, however, the indications in treatment group is obviously improved comparing with that of contrast group. Hemorrheology indicators in two groups is improved evidently, furthermore, better effect is witnessed in treatment group than that of contrast group.
