Gynecology and Obstetrics

The cases in this group are all out-patients. Enlargement in different degrees in bilateral sides of appendages by type-B ultrasonic. All patients have a little change or no effect by anti-inflammatory treatment in menstrual period, are 23~40 years’ old, and have 1~2 months treatment courses (withdrawal in menstrual period). Treatment prescription: Dang Gui, Bai Shao, Chai Hu, Fu Ling, San Leng, E Zhu, Tao Ren, Hong Hua, Chuan Xiong, Huang Bai (fried salts), Niu Xi, Xiang Fu, Yu Jin. Add Dang Shen, Huang Qi, Che Qian Zi or Che Qian Cao for Qi deficiency and fatigue followed with leukorrhagia; add Shui Zhi, prepared Ru Xiang, prepared Mo Yao for severe abdominal pain; add Long Dan Cao and Mu Tong for yellow and sticky leucorrhea followed with peculiar smell; add Yu Xing Cao for pelvic cavity hydrops; add vinegar-soaked Da Huang for constipation. Treatment results: the total effect is above 90%.
