This observation was designed to explore the better treatment method of diabetic neurogenic bladder. 70 cases of the disease were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 35 patients in each group. The control group was treated by Methycobal 250μg intramuscular injection once every other day; the treatment group was treated by the same plan as above, plus acupuncture at Guanyuan (CV4) Front-Mu Point of the SmallIntestine, Zhongji (CV3) Front-Mu Point of the Bladder, Shenshu (BL23), Ciliao (BL32) and Huiyang (BL35). Compare the two groups before and after the treatments with residual urine volume, the efficiency rate of the symptoms.


Results: The urgency of urination, frequency of micturition, dribbling urination, urinary incontinence and difficulties in the treatment group were significantly better than that in the control group after treatment, but with no significant difference between them in prolongation of urination time. After the treatment, the bladder residual urine volume of the two groups all was obvious improved, but there was a more significantly improving in treatment group than that in control group.
