Urine Bladder Meridian

Regional Anatomy:
Skin-subcutaneous tissue-greatest gluteal muscle-tendon of levator ani muscle.
In the superficial layer, there are the middle clunial nervers. In the deep layer, there are the branches or thibutaries of the inferior gluteal artery and vein and the inferior gluteal nerve.


Location:
Kneel down and bend over; 0.5 cun lateral to the tip of coccyx.
Function:
Regulating the function of the lower-jiao.


Indications:
Lumbago during menstrual period, leukorrhagia, sexual impotence, enteritis, intestinal hemorrhage, hemorrhoid, pruritus genitalium, pudendal neurodermatitis, gonorrhea, and sciatica.


Prescription:
Combined use with ChengshanBL57 (Chengshan (BL57)) for treatment of proctoptosis, and hemorrhoid; with YinlingquanSP9 (Yinlingquan (SP9) He-Sea Point) for treatment of perineal eczema; and with GuanyuanCV4 (Guanyuan (CV4) Front-Mu Point of the SmallIntestine) for treatment of sexual impotence, and spermatorrhea.


Methods:
Insert the needle perpendicularly, 1-1.5 cun deep; needling response: local numbness and distension, radiating toward the perineum; moxibustion: using 3-5 moxa-cones, or mild moxibustion for 10 min.
