Heat gets into “blood chamber” which is consider to uterus. This was originally from "Treatise on Febrile Diseases." It refers to woman whom has evil attack during menstruation or post-partum, the evil heat invades “blood chamber” and acts with blood when her defense is weak. Although it is not a frequently-occurring illness, but we still see it sometimes in clinic.
