(3) Liver stasis and spleen deficiency (23 cases): the symptoms include slight hypochondrium, poor appetite, distention after meals, loose stools, pale tongue, thin white coating or white greasy coating, wiry thready pulse. The treatment needs sooth liver and tonify spleen, the prescription is Xiao Yao San without toast Sheng Jiang, Bo He, adding Dang Shen, Zhi Ke, Yu Jin, Ji Nei Jin.

(4) Gall bladder deficiency cold (14 cases): the symptoms include hidden pain in hypochondrium which relief with pressure, the symptoms are relieved after meals, vomiting acid water, four limbs are not warm, fatigue, loose stools, pale tongue with thin white coating, wiry pulse. The treatment needs warming gall bladder and stomach, the prescription is Huang Qi Jian Zhong Tang without Jiang Zao, adding Dang Shen, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, Yi Yi Ren, Yu Jin, Fo Shou, Ji Nei Jin.

(5) Gall bladder and stomach Yin deficiency (4 cases): the symptoms include hidden pain or flaming pain in hypochondrium that is more severe after hard working, epigastic upset and easily to be hungry, dizziness and fatigue, feverish dysphoria, constipation, red tongue with a little coating or no coating, theady and wiry pulse or frequent pulse. The treatment needs sooth liver and nourish stomach, the prescription is Yi Guan Jian without raw Di Huang, adding Bai Shao, Yu Jin, Ji Nei Jin, Shan Zha, toast Gan Cao.

Result: total effective rate is 94.8%.
