There are 28 cases of Early Ectopic Pregnancy (non-rupture type), among which 19 cases are inpatients, 9 cases are outpatients, and the ages of them are between 23 and 42 years old. All the patients’ vital sign is normal and do not have lower abdominal severe pain, no active abdominal cavity bleeding sign, syncope and shock history. All patients’ blood HCG test show negative result, type-B ultrasonic examination indicates there are no fertilized ovums, yet, product of conceptions were found in adnexa area. As for some patients, noncondensing blood was detected when performing paracentesis in back fornix.
Treatment method: we should observe the patients’ general situation closely during TCM treatment, pay attention to whether there are abdominal pain and abdominal signs, vaginal hemorrhage and amount, discharging of decidua tissue, review the blood HCG and type-B ultrasonic examination to find if there is adnexa agglomeration every 5-7 days. Especially, as to the outpatients, we would be well-advised to advert if there is severe abdominal pain, the patient should be treated immediately in emergency department to avoid the suddenness. Yi Zhu Ting prescription includes raw Pu Huang (packed with gauze) 15g, Chi Shao Yao 10g, Su Mu 10g, prepared Ru Xiang 6g, Mo Yao 6g, Tu Bie Chong 6g, E Zhu 9g, Xue Jie 5g, raw Shan Zha 15g, Qing Pi 6g, Chen Pi 6g, Liu Ji Nu 10g, Shi Jian Chuan 12g, Ma Bian Cao 15g, Hua Rui Shi 20g. Modification: adding San Qi (grinding to powder and intake) 3g, fry Qian Cao 15g if there is vaginal hemorrhage; adding roast Sheng Jiang 3g, Wu Zhu Yu 4g if there is fetal fever. After 1 week’s treatment, if the HCG dose not decrease continually, we should add Wu Gong 1-2 pieces, Chuan Niu Xi 15g, Dang Gui Wei 15g, Wu Ling Zhi 6g, meanwhile, we use Forest Musk 0.5-1.0g exterior application on Shenque (CV8), changing the herb every 1-2 days. During treatment, if the patients have soreness on lumbar region, lower abdominal vague pain, dropping sensation on anus, they are the premonition of abortion, herbs with function of kidney reinforcement should not be applied.
Result: among all the patients, there are 26 cases be healed after 10-30 days treatment.
