Pediatrics

Nervous frequent urination is one kind of usual disease for juvenile and children, its clinic symptoms are urinary tract symptoms, however, they have close relationship with nerve system. Since the development of the cerebral cortex of children dose not to be perfected, and the local nerves are dominated by cerebral cortex, which has weak restraining function on primary nerve centre, urination could not be controlled freely, thus, the symptoms of urgent urine, frequent urine appear. There are 50 out-patients who are divided randomly into two groups including 30 cases in treatment group and 20 cases in contrast group. Treatment method: Jia Wei Liu Wei Di Huang Tang combining with pig bladder, namely Shu Di Huang, Shan Yao, Fu Ling, Ze Xie, Fu Zi, Rou Gui, Yi Zhi Ren, Sang Piao Qiao, Wu Wei Zi, Long Gu, Mu Li, 1 piece of pig bladder. The dosage for each herb should be judged according to the patients’ age. Inserting the above herbs into one clean pig bladder and decocting, 2 times one day, 1 decoction 2 days, one week is one course, adding some red sugar for children who have some difficulties in taking. For contrast group, patients orally take San Jin Tablet, Oryzanol, and vitamin B1.

Treatment result: Among treatment group, 24 cases are healed, 8 cases had obvious effect, 2 cases had no effect; Regarding contrast group (20 cases), 6 cases are healed, 4 cases had evident effect, 10 cases had no effect; there exists remarkable difference between treatment group and contrast group (P<0.01).
