30 Cases of Lingering Rhonchus Caused by Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease in Remission Treated with Xiao Luo FangPosted by: admin on Jan 09, 2009 - 12:09 AMChronic obstructive lung disease is the common aged diseases of lower respiratory illnesses. Most patients’ infections in acute period have been controlled effectively since effective antibiotics were applied; however, lives of the patients with long course and repeated outbreak disease are severely affected because of protracted course of disease, lingering rhonchus without totally eliminated. Treatment: in treatment group, apply Chinese herbs Xiao Luo Fang and stop taking western medicines of eliminating phlegm and relieving cough. Prescription of Chinese herbs: Huang Qi, Dan Shen, Chi Shao, Sang Bai Pi, Jin Yin Hua, Yu Xing Cao, Ting Li Zi, Zhe Bei Mu, Di Long and Chen Pi. In control group, apply Ambroxol, 300mg for once, and 3 times a day with oral administration. The treatment is one course lasting for one month. Results: the total effective is 93.3% in treatment group and 73.3% in control group. The improvement of treatment group is better.
