Infectious Diseases

There are 68 cases which including 20 cases of chronic active hepatitis and 48 cases of chronic persistent hepatitis. 4 cases combine with early liver cirrhosis, 12 cases combine with cholecystitis. Treatment method: Yi Gan Honey pill: the ingredients includes Bai Kou Ren, Sheng Yi Yi Ren, Ze Xie, Qian Shi, Yin Chen, Yu Jin, Qing Pi, Guang Mu Xiang, Zhi Ke, Chi Shao Yao, Ban Zhi Lian, Lu Feng Fang etc 16 herbs. Refining honey to pill, 8g each pill. Taking 4 times each day, the dosage for children should be reduced to half. Liver-kidney yin deficiency: adding Sheng Di Huang, Mu Dan Pi, Shan Zhu Yu, Bie Jia; Spleen-kidney yang deficiency: adding Ren Shen, Huang Qi, Bai Zhu, Lu Jiao Jiao; Liver stasis and spleen deficiency: adding Chai Hu, Bai Shao Yao, Zi Cao, Bai Zhu; Liver-gallbladder damp-heat: adding Ling Yang Jiao powder, Hu Zhang, Bai Mao Gen, Tu Fu Ling; Blood stagnation obstructing collaterals: adding Chuan Shan Jia, Xue Jie, San Leng, E Zhu, Da Huang. 3 months are one course.

Result: Yi Gan Honey Pill has good effect towards diversiform type of chronic hepatitis, such as liver-gallbladder damp-heat (total effective rate is 98.5%), liver stasis and spleen deficiency (total effective rate is 96.2%), liver-kidney yin deficiency (total effective rate is 90.4%), liver-kidney yang deficiency (total effective rate is 93.1%), blood stagnation obstructing collaterals (total effective rate is 79.6%).
