Internal Medicine

The main clinic symptoms of chronic bronchitis are long-term recurrent cough, expectoration or accompanying asthma, which are severer in winter or during sudden change of climate and are relieved in summer or when the whether becomes warmer. Treatment method: grinding equally dosage of Xi Xin, Su Zi, Bai Jie Zi, Gan Sui, Yan Hu Suo to powder, mixing them together, adding appropriate 30% camphor tincture and stiring into paste, enclosed storage. Put dose as size of soybean on center of adhesive plaster with size of 2cmX2cm, pasting on points. First group: Tiantu (CV22), Dazhui (GV14), Feishu (BL13); The second group: Danzhong (CV17) Front-Mu Point of the Pericardium, Dingchuan, Mingmen (GV4). Pasting the first group points if the main symptom is cough, and second group if the main symptom is asthma, pasting alternatively the two groups when there are both cough and asthma. Pasting one time respectively in early, middle, last stage during dog days, continually using for 3 years as one course. Removing the paste after 6-12 hours each time.

Result: there were 8 cases been healed, 12 cases have evident effect, 3 cases without effect.
