Chinese Patent Herb: Shang Shi Zhi Tong Ointment

Ingredients: Chuan Wu, Cao Wu, Gu Sui Bu, Shan Nai, Gan Jiang, Jing Jie, Fang Feng, Bai Zhi, Wu Jia Pi, Tou Gu Cao, Lao He Cao, Hong Hua, Ma Qian Zi, Bai Jiao Xiang, He Lao Hu, Bo He Nao (menthol), Bing Pian (Borneol), Zhang Nao (camphor), Yun Xiang.

Indications: dispersing wind and cold, eliminating damp, activating collaterals, invigorating flow of blood, stopping pain. It can be used for pain of joints, traumatic injury etc. We now often use it for rheumatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, traumatic arthritis, cervical nerve root inflammation, cervical bone hyperplasia, spraining, soft tissue contusion etc.

Dosage and method: Rubber Plaster: 4 pieces per package, exterior pasting on affected area, changing after 6-12 hours.

Contraindication: skin allergies, skin erosion with exudate and septic from the injury.
