Chinese Patent Herb: Yang Yin Qing Fei Pills

Another name: Yang Yin Qing Fei Gao (paste)

Ingredients: Di Huang, Xuan Shen, Mai Dong, Zhe Bei Mu, Bai Shao Yao, Mu Dan Pi, Bo He, Gan Cao.

Indications: nourishing yin, clearing lung, stopping cough, resolving phlegm. It can be used for symptoms of cough, thirsty and dry throat, aphonia and hoarseness of voice, bloody sputum, throat swelling and pain, or soreness sensation on lumbar region and knees, irritability, insomnia, feverish sensation in the five centers, night sweating and red cheek, male spermatorrhea etc. We now often use it for treatment of symptoms mentioned above caused by acute and chronic bronchitis etc.

Dosage: Oral taking. Honey pills: 9g per pill; electuary: 30-60g per bottle, 15g per time, 2-3 times each day.

Contraindications: spicy, greasy food. It should be used cautiously if there is cough with large amount of phlegm, or thick greasy tongue coating.
