120 cases of chronic HBeAg-positive are treated by Gui Ling Yi Gan capsule, and received a satisfying curative effect. The reports are as follows.
The treatment group takes Gui Ling Yi Gan capsule (Wu Gui, Ling Zhi, Zi He Che, Huang Qi, Zao Xiu, etc), 5 capsules for once, 3 times a day and one course of treatment is 3 months. The control group takes Yi Gan Ning Granule (Ants, Huang Qi, Wu Wei Zi, etc), 5g for once, 3 times a day and one course of treatment is 3 months. Test HBV markers and HBVDNA after every course of treatment.
Treatment Result: in the treat group, 32 cases (27%) are cured, 67 cases (56%) are markedly improved, 14 cases (12%) improved and 7 cases (6%) failed, with the total effective rate of 94%. In the control group, 13 cases (11%) are cured, 34 cases (29%) are markedly improved, 54 cases (45%) improved and 19 (15%) cases failed, with the total effective rate of 85%. Both groups have highly significant differences in total effective rate and markedly improved rate. The modern pharmacology research indicates that Zao Xiu, Shan Dou Gen, Chi Shao, Huang Qi and Ban Lan Gen have anti-HBV function; Dan Shen, Bai Hua She She Cao, Huang Qi, Dong Chong Xia Cao, Chai Hu and ji Xue Teng can promote cellular immunity and lymphocyte transformation; Ling Zhi, Huang Qi, Zi He Che and Chai Hu can promote production of anti-HBs and enhance humoral immune function; Huang Qi, Chai Hu and Chuan Xiong can promote interferon induce. Gui Ling Yi Gan capsule is designed to excite and regulate immunity function of organism, enhance the ability of dispersing pathogens and physiological resistance to a poison, improve the change of virus in liver and function of liver, remove the virus and restrain viral replication.
