Self Massage

1. Prescription
Head and Face: Jingming (BL1), Cuanzhu (BL2), Sibai (ST2), Yuyao, Yangbai (GB14), Sizhukong (TE23), Taiyang, Fengchi (GB20).
Lumbar and Back Region: Dazhui (GV14), Ganshu (BL18), Shenshu (BL23).
Leg: Guangming (GB37) Luo-Connecting Point.
Arm: Yanglao (SI6) Xi-Cleft Point.


2. Technique of Massage
2.1 Right thumb pushes from Taiyang of right side to the other side through right GB14, Yintang and left GB14, repeat the operation for 5 times.
2.2 Left thumb pushes from Taiyang of left side to the other side through left GB14, Yintang and right GB14, repeat the operation for 5 times.
2.3 Thumb and index finger nail of left hand or right hand pinch both BL1 for 30 times until feel soreness sensation.
2.4 Both thumbs place oppositely on both BL2, Yuyao (extra point) with slight strength, press downwards for 30 times until feel soreness sensation.
2.5 Both index fingers or middle fingers place on both ST2, TE23 with slight strength press-knead for 30 times until feel soreness sensation.
2.6 Both index fingers and middle fingers place on both BL2 oppositely, wipe from medial to lateral along arcus superciliaris through Yuyao (extra point) to distal eyebrow, repeat the operation for 5-10 times. Both thumbs may place on both side face in order to supply assistance.
2.7 Close your eyes gently, place both index fingers and both middle fingers on both upper eyelids and lower eyelids, rub from medial to lateral along superior-inferior orbit for 10 times.
2.8 Close your eyes gently, rub both palms each other until feel warming sensation, put warming palm on both eyeballs, press downwards slowly and  put up your hands when you feel slight distention sensation of both eyeballs, repeat the operation for 5 times.
2.9 Both middle fingers place on both GB20 respectively, press-knead for 30 times.
Then press-knead both sides muscles along cervical vertebra from up to down until place level with GV14, repeat for 5-10 times.
2.10 Thumb press-knead SI6 on arm for 30 times.
Thumb press-knead GB37 on leg for 30 times.
Thumb press-knead BL18 on back for 30 times.
Thumb press-knead BL23 on back for 30 times.
2.11 Hollow-fist tap frontal head for 10 times. 
Hollow-fist tap side head for 10 times.
Index finger flip the region around orbit for 10 times.
