Treatment of Pelvic Blood Obstruction Syndrome given by Pelvic Obstruction Relieving DecoctionPosted by: admin on May 16, 2008 - 05:21 AM
Pelvic blood obstruction syndrome is a kind of gynecological diseases caused by chronic pelvic vein blood obstruction. It generally happens in the woman of 25-40 years old who has a history of childbirth. In recent years, the author used self built Pelvic Obstruction Relieving Decoction to treat the diseases of 100 cases, all the patients have childbirth history. The clinic symptoms: all the patients have lumbosacral pain, lower abdominal pain with falling sensation, large amount of menstruation and leucorrhea, etc, the symptoms become severe with fatigue, coition, or menstrual approaching. Gynaecological examinations show 86 cases with indigo pudendum or vagina, 43 cases with pudendum varices, 15 cases with leg varices, 34 cases with cervical hypertrophy, 72 cases with retroversion of uterus. There are 44 cases belonging to deficiency of kidney for TCM syndrome differentiation, 32 cases for qi deficiency and blood obstruction, 24 cases for qi stasis and blood obstruction. Treatment method: Pelvic Obstruction Relieving Decoction consist of Huang Qi, Dang Gui, Zhi Ke, Chuan Xu Duan, Chuan Xiong, Tao Ren, Hong Hua, Shui Zhi, Sheng Ma, Sang Ji Sheng. Modification: adding Du Zhong, Tu Si Zi, Niu Xi if there is severe kidney deficiency; using more Huang Qi, adding Dang Shen, Bai Zhu if the qi deficiency is severe; adding Xiang Fu, Yu Jin if the qi stasis is severe; adding Shu Di Huang, Bai Shao Yao etc if there is yin blood insufficiency; adding Wu Yao, Rou Gui, Xiao Hui Xiang ect if there is cold coagulation.
Treatment result: 56 cases are cured, 31 cases with obvious effect, 8 cases are effective, 5 cases without effect, the total effective rate is 95%. The shortest healing period is one course, the longest healing period is 3 courses.
