Bitter, astringent.


2 MERIDIANS
Liver and spleen


3 FUNCTIONS
To eliminate summer-heat, clear heat, stop stagnation of blood.


4 INDICATIONS
Invasion of summer-heat or heat manifested as headache, dizziness, bloody vomiting, epistaxis, bloody defecation and urination.

3-9 g
