50 Cases of Obstinate Hiccup Treated with Acupuncture and Cupping [1]

All these 50 cases are outpatients of obstinate hiccup, and the outbreak is 2-7 days. Treatments: acupuncture: points selecting: Zanzhu (Jingming (BL1) [3]) (both sides), Neiguan (PC6) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point [4] (Neiguan (PC6) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point [5]), Zhongwan (CV12) Front-Mu Point of the Stomach [6] (Zhongwan (CV12) Front-Mu Point of the Stomach [7]), Qihai (CV6) [8] (Qihai (CV6) [9]) and Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point [10] (both sides). Cupping: points selecting: Zhongwan (CV12), and Shenque (CV8) [11] (Shenque (CV8) [12]). Manipulations: after puncturing, flash cupping on the both points above for 10 minutes. Once a day, 5 times treatments make one course, 3 days break between every two courses. Results: the total effect is 96%.
