All these 50 cases are outpatients of obstinate hiccup, and the outbreak is 2-7 days. Treatments: acupuncture: points selecting: Zanzhu (Jingming (BL1)) (both sides), Neiguan (PC6) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point (Neiguan (PC6) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point), Zhongwan (CV12) Front-Mu Point of the Stomach (Zhongwan (CV12) Front-Mu Point of the Stomach), Qihai (CV6) (Qihai (CV6)) and Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point (both sides). Cupping: points selecting: Zhongwan (CV12), and Shenque (CV8) (Shenque (CV8)). Manipulations: after puncturing, flash cupping on the both points above for 10 minutes. Once a day, 5 times treatments make one course, 3 days break between every two courses. Results: the total effect is 96%.
