Regional Anatomy:
Skin-subcutaneous tissue-lateral malleolus.
There are the lateral melleolar network of the anterior tibial artery, the lateral malleolar branches of the peroneal artery, the branches of the sural nerve and the superficial peroneal nerve in this area.


Location:
Sit upright or lie on one`s side; at the highest point of lateral malleolus.
Function:
Relaxing the muscles and tendons.


Indications:
Beriberi, toothache, and tonsillitis.


Prescription:
Combined use with NeihuaijianEXLE8 (EX-LE8) for treatment of tonsillitis.


Methods:
Prick to cause bleeding; moxibustion: using 3-7 moxa-cones, or mild moxibustion for 5-15 min.
