Regional Anatomy:
Skin-subcutaneous tissue-medial malleolus.
There are the branches of the medial cutaneous branch of the leg from the saphenous nerve, the medial melleolar network of the anterior tibial artery, the branches of the medial anterior malleolar artery anethe medial malleolar branches of the posterior tibial artery in this area.


Location:
Sit upright or lie on one`s side; at the highest point of medial malleolus.
Function:
Relaxing the muscles and tendons.


Indications:
Beriberi, toothache, and sore throat.


Methods:
Prick to cause bleeding; moxibustion: using 3-7 moxa-cones, or mild moxibustion for 5-15 min.
