Regional Anatomy:
Nasal muscle-submucous loose connective tissue.
There are the arteriovenous network of the dorsal nasal branches of the facial artery and vein and the lateral nasal branches of the anterior ethmoidal nerve in this area.


Location:
Proper sitting with one's back propped; on the nasal mucosa in the nostril which is opposite with ShangyinyxiangEXHN8(EX-HN8).
Function:
Resuscitation and clearing heat.


Indications:
Apoplexy, sunstroke, acute infantile convulsions, sore throat, rhinitis, headache, and vertigo.


Prescription:
Combined use with HeguLI4 (Hegu (LI4) Yuan-Source Point) for treatment of redness, swelling and pain of the eyes.


Methods:
Prick to cause bleeding.
