Treatment result: all of 1119 patients feel improvement with extending of treatment. Specially, anti-fatigue and tolerance of pain are obviously increased. Symptoms such as darkish complexion, dull pain on chest and hypochondriac region, lassitude, soreness and pain on the extremities, abdominal distention and hiccups, easily common cold and ulceration on lower extremities are cured or relieved. Hepatic fibrosis is specially and obviously relieved. There are 733 cases with abnormal hepatic fibrosis, after treatment, ultrasonic B and index test of hepatic fibrosis in 382 cases 52.2% become normal; 176 cases 15.8% obviously effective ( ALT normal, HBV DNA, HBeAg, HBsAg become negative ); 626 cases 55.9% effective (ALT normal, HBV DNA, HBeAg become negative but HBsAg is still positive ). 18 cases 1.6% develop to cirrhosis; 1 case 0.1% to primary HCC. We followed 60 cases within five years, 4 cases 6.7% are repeatedly happened.
Precaution:
The ingredients in this prescription is unique, Fu Zi, Chuan Wu are strong pungent, heat and toxicity that belong to eighteen incompatible medicaments, but here is no side effect and treatment result is obviously effective. Decoction is important, Fu Zi and Chuan Wu should be soaked by hot water at first, then decocted with large amount of water and mild fire. Decoction time depends on dosage of these two herbs, decoct 30 to 60 minutes if total dosage is below 30g; decoct more than 60 minutes if total dosage is more than 30g, then mix with other herbs to decoct together.
