Four Differentiations and Treatments of High Fever Caused by Internal Injury (II)Posted by: admin on Oct 12, 2009 - 12:07 AM(3) Tonifying yin, clearing away heat and relieving hectic fever: internal diseases lead to liver and kidney yin deficiency, internal retention of deficiency-heat; or excess of fire due to yin deficiency leads to invasion of pathogenic wind; or yin damage in late stage of warm disease leads to yin deficiency, retention of internal heat and remittent fever. Symptoms: high or low fever in the afternoon unrelieved by sudorific, thin body, red lip and cheek, irritability, thirst, dry throat, fatigue, sore and weakness of lumber and knee, red tongue with scanty coating, thready and rapid pulse. The modifications of Qing Hao Bie Jia Tang, Qing Gu San and Qin Jiu Bie Jia San are applied to tonify yin, clear away heat and relieve hectic fever.
