Internal Medicine

Acute hemorrhagic apoplexy is one of the most serious diseases in internal medicine. According to the various clinical symptoms and pathogeny, TCM considers liver Qi, liver wind and liver fire three factors and studies out the treatment scheme that takes methods of clearing and draining. The Clearing means clearing the liver fire, clearing the phlegm and heat, benefiting heart-spirit; the draining means promoting the meridians, draining the stasis in Fu-organ, benefiting Qi and blood, promoting brain collaterals.

(1) Draining Fu-organ can soothes liver and resolve stasis;
(2) Draining Fu-organ may discharge the turbid and “evacuating the firewood under the cauldron”;
(3) Draining Fu-organ has the function of nourishing Yin and hiding Yang.
