The writer utilized Xiao Yao Wan to treat 100 cases of secondary school students’ neurasthenia and got satisfactory result. The clinical symptoms include insomnia in 96 cases, fatigue in 75 cases, dizziness or headache in 67 cases, poor memory in 54 cases, irritability in 49 cases, poor appetite in 36 cases, fullness sensation in chest in 33 cases, menstruation disorder in 37 cases. Treatment method: concentrated Xiao Yao Wan, 10 granules per time, 3 times per day, oral taking in the morning, noon, and evening with warm water, enjoining the patients to have happy mood, 1 month is one course, continually taking for 2 courses. Result: there are 66 cases be healed (66%), 27 cases have obvious effect (27%), 5 cases become better (5%), 2 cases have no effect (3%).
