Idiopathic oligospermia account for 40% of male infertility, since the pathogeny is not clear, there is not very effective treatment method. We randomly selected 240 patients with idiopathic oligospermia, among them 180 cases use Liu Wei Di Huang Wan with modification (treatment group), 60 cases use chloramiphene (contrast group). Liu Wei Di Huang Wan comprises of Shu Di Huang 20g, Shan Yao 30g, Huang Qi 30g, Mu Dan Pi 10g, Fu Ling 10g, He Shou Wu 10g, Gou Qi Zi 10g, Tu Si Zi 10g, Bu Gu Zhi 10g, Sha Yuan Zi 10g, Yin Yang Huo 20g, Shan Zhu Yu 10g. Result: treatment group: 115 patients’ wives are pregnant, there are 56 cases got improvement and significant improvement in sperm count, total effective rate is 95%; for contrast group, there are 22 patients’ wives are pregnant, there are 19 cases got improvement and significant improvement in sperm count, the total effective rate is 68.33%.
