There are 320 patients who are 58.5±2.2 years old, we randomly divided these patients to two groups (160 cases each group), both groups use oral intake medicine method. As for treatment group, we use Liu Wei Di Huang Wan, the ingredients include Shu Di Huang, Shan Zhu Yu, Shan Yao, Mu Dan Pi, Fu Ling, Ze Xie. As to the contrast group, we utilize calcium citrate and calcium gluconate, there is 150mg calcium in each granule of medicine, 3 times per day, 1 granule each time. The treatment course is 6 months. Observed indicators and inspection methods: (1) Clinical symptoms change, (2) Lumbar spine bone mineral density (BMD) measured, (3) Biochemical markers of bone metabolism: fasting blood alkaline phosphatase (AKP), urine calcium / creatinine ratio (U Ca / Cr), urinary hydroxyproline lung acid / creatinine ratio (U HOP / Cr), determination of blood calcium. Result: total effective rate are 93.8% and 41.2% in treatment group and contrast group respectively. There is obvious difference between the two groups (P＜0.05 ).
