Topic on channels in the divine pivot (Tenth article part IV)Posted by: admin on Apr 04, 2009 - 01:56 AMIf the qi of the large-intestines channel is excessive, the area where its channel runs through will be hot and swollen. If the qi is deficient, one will shake and difficult to keep warm. To treat such diseases, drain what is excessive, and supplement what is deficient. Needle fast to what shows heat, retain needles to what has cold, and use moxibustion to what shows sinking. If a disease is due to neither excess nor deficiency of other channels, select the large-intestine channel itself. If its qi is excessive, the neck pulse will be three times larger than the wrist pulse. If its qi is deficient, the neck pulse will be smaller than the wrist pulse. Key Words: channels, in the divine pivot |
