Nei Jing

Water and grains all enter the mouth. The five flavors of them rush into their own seas respectively. The fluids run in their respective ways. So the triple-warmer transports the qi. What warm the muscles and fill the skin are active fluids. What stay and do not move are inactive fluids. When the weather is hot and the clothes are thick, the muscular striae open and sweat comes out. When cold stays in the muscles, the accumulated foam will induce pain. When the weather is cold, the muscular striae remains closed. The qi is uneven and stands still, then water gets down into the bladder. So the discharge is urine and qi.
