Nei Jing

After the water gets into the stomach, the essential qi of water spills and is transported upward to the spleen. The spleen continues to push it upward to the lungs. The lungs dredge the water ways and transmit the water qi downward to the bladder. The essential qi of water spreads everywhere and runs into the channels of the five zang-organs. Conforming to the rules of the four seasons, five zang-organs and yin-yang, all functions cooperate.
